Antique Baseball Cap Horace Partridge 1890s-1904

Offered is an Antique, Vintage Circa 1890’S to 1904 Baseball cap. This is an Adult size Antique baseball cap from the turn of the century. This is an early “Small Bill” wool Baseball cap with no Stitching on the bill which normally Pre-Dates it to before 1904. These were in use between 1890 AND 1910. The cap measures approx 7″ inches round and again is an adult cap. The cap is grey and red wool with a red bill. The cap is in excellent plus condition with no rips, tears, or moth holes anywhere to be found, for being over 100 years old, and displays well. This vintage Baseball cap was made by the “Horace Partridge Company of Boston one of baseball’s premier Sporting goods companies of the late 1800s to early 1900s. They were in business from 1884 to 1931 before they were purchased by the Thomas Wilson company. The top cap button is made of grey wool. Inside the liner is a complete leather headband and a Horace Partridge cloth label complete.
