Description
Purveyors of “The Burns and Allen Show”, George Burns and Gracie Allen were an American institution and one of the greatest teams in entertainment history. They ruled vaudeville and world stages since their pairing 1926, and in 1933, began an unprecedented seventeen-year run in radio inserting the phrase “Goodnight Gracie” into our national vernacular, and, unlike most of their peers, successfully transitioned to even greater success in television. Gracie left their top-of-the-heap series in 1958 and died in 1964. Signed pieces from their heyday are rare and extremely desirable. Offered here two cut signatures of George Burns and Gracie Allen on album page. Signatures signed in blue fountain pen and grade 7-8. **Note – The back of the cuts – (George Burns) Georgia Gibbs & (Gracie Allen) Porter Hall** Authentication: JSA Basic Cert & Sticker
