The Mercury Seven was a group of seven Mercury astronauts selected by NASA on April 9, 1959. The seven original American astronauts were Alan Shepard, Gus Grissom, John Glenn, Scott Carpenter, Wally Schirra, Gordon Cooper and Deke Slayton. The group flew all classes of NASA spacecrafts like Mercury, Gemini, Apoloo and the Space Shuttle.

Presented is an unlined 3×5 index card autographed by one of the Mercury Seven, Wally Schirra in black pen (“9-10”).
