Description
Robert Scott had a great career at pitcher and first base for the New York Black Yankees and the Memphis Red Sox. He played baseball from 1946-1950. One of his quotes reads, “In 1950, I played with the Jackie Robinson All-Stars. I received an award from the New York Yankees and the New York Mets. I was honored at the Hall of Fame in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and my picture is in the National Baseball Hall of Fame Library in Cooperstown, New York.”
Presented is an OML (Selig) baseball autographed by Robert Scott. He signed it on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen (“9”) with the inscription, “New York Black Yankees – 1946-50”.
