Description
One year before Rogers Hornsby retired, he received 105 votes in the inaugural year (1936) of the Hall of Fame. This amazing vote was taken without consideration of the five-year waiting period before induction. Presented is a post card (3.25″ x 5.5″) from 1958 out of Chicago (postmarked) signed by Rogers Hornsby. He signed the back in blue ballpoint with the date, “1958”. The card was placed within a matte (5″ x 7″) via tape on the back. Overall, quite suitable for framing.
