Presented for auction is a 1969 Seattle Post Intelligencer (1978 Re-issue) Seattle Pilots -FULL SET (38). Nice example, guaranteed original to 1978. I can’t remember when the last full set of these was sold. (Very Rare Issue) Ex/Mt condition. In 1978 Seattle area collector and President of the WSSCA FRANK CARUSO created a set of white cards based upon the collectible 1969 Seattle Post-Intelligencer inserts that they printed in their newspaper. These items are smaller than the 1969 inserts and have advertising on the back by the Post. Frank did not have a copy of #5 Joe Schultz so the 1978 set did not include a card #5 so only 38 of the 39 1969 items were recreated in this form. Cards measure 2-3/8″ x 4-7/8″.
