Description
Presented is a blue jersey that was game worn by former University of Florida Gators player, Derrick Chambers. On the front, back, and each shoulder is the player number “91” screened on in white and orange. The Gator patch logo is present on the chest, sides are Spandex (purple) and the custom elastic sleeves are striped in team colors orange and white. Across the back is his name “CHAMBERS” in white on a nameplate. The collar tagging shows it is a Reebok [size] 44 with fabric flap tag +2. The SEC patch is set in the center collar portion with a repair also present. The jersey was custom hemmed along the bottom per player specification. It shows tons of wear concentrated on the shoulders with lots of repairs and then throughout the jersey – other repairs, scrapes, discolorations etc.noticible on the identifers. Overall, a nice Gators game jersey.
Derrick Chambers was a hotshot defensive line prospect from North Carolina when he signed with Florida in 1996. He experienced UF’s first national championship as a freshman the following fall, was there for the epic defeat of No. 1 Florida State in ’97, captained a Southeastern Conference championship squad in 2000, graduated with a degree in sociology in ’01, spent two seasons in the NFL and took a crack at Wall Street after that.
