Presented is a limited editon gold USA Olympic “Dream Team” jersey autographed by Michael Jordan. He signed the back of the jersey “9” in black felt tip (“9”). The jersey is a Nike 2XL with Dream Team tagging on the front. It is a true rarity and part of a limited editjon 298/369 that were made.

In 1992, Michael Jordan, was a member of the star-studded squad that was dubbed the “Dream Team”, which included Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. The team won two gold medals: the first in the 1992 Tournament of the Americas, and the second in the 1992 Summer Olympics. Jordan was the only player to start all eight games in the Olympics, averaged 14.9 ppg, and finished second on the team in scoring. He was undefeated in the four tournaments he played for the United States national team, and Jordan won all 30 games he took part in.

In sports, revolution came at the 1992 Summer Olympics. That was when pro athletes were first allowed to compete and when two iconic words entered the sports lexicon: Dream Team. The 1992 Dream Team was by far the most dominant, the most important and the most influential team the world has ever seen. Their epic performance caused a soaring global interest in basketball.
