Presented is one of the first and most important studies of vampire lore (reportedly the Reverend Summers was a believer), published after Bela Lugosi starred in the play version of *Dracula* on Broadway, but before he reprised his role for the classic film. The title of the book is “The Vampire in Europe” (with illustration) written by Montague Summers. The book dates to 1929 and first edition. Overall, a nice copy with some expected aging/foxing.
