The Year of Living Dangerously, the classic 1982 (released in the U.S. in 1983) Peter Weir Australian Indonesia political romantic melodrama (“A love caught in the fire of revolution.”; “Mel Gibson…Living dangerously”; “From the novel by C.J. Koch”; about the 1950s revolution in Indonesia) starring Mel Gibson, Sigourney Weaver, Bill Kerr, Michael Murphy, Linda Hunt (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Noel Ferrier, and Bembol Roco. Note that Linda Hunt won Best Supporting “Actress”, even though she played a man in the movie! This was the only case where anyone playing a member of the opposite sex won a Oscar, and it was EXTREMELY well deserved in this case, as Hunt gave a marvelous performance!
This poster is rolled, and is near mint condition.
