Description
Billy Idol first achieved fame in the 1970s emerging from the London punk rock scene as the lead singer of the group Generation X. Subsequently, he embarked on a solo career which led to international recognition and made Idol a lead artist during the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” in the United States. The name “Billy Idol” was inspired by a schoolteacher’s description of him as “idle”.
Presented is an autographed guitar of Billy Idol. It is a black Fender Squire Strat guitar (20th Anniversary). The white pick guard of the guitar was signed in black felt tip marker (“9”) with an inscription of a year date “’02”.
This originates from a promotion director at KOMP Radio here in Las Vegas. The famous rock star signed the guitar back in at one of their events.
