Bonzi Wells Game-Worn Jersey Rockets 2007-08 – COA MeiGray

Presented is a game worn Bonzi Well jersey from the 2007-08 season. On the chest is the Rockets “HOUSTON” team logo patch in white tackle twill. Below is his number “6” sewn on in the same white tackle twill. On the front left tail is the Nike manufacturer’s tag size “50”. Attached are a flap tags reading: “Climalite”, “LENGTH +2””,  “2007-08”. Adjacent to the left is an “MeiGray Group NBA Game Worn” tag with serial number “AM004614”. It also features a Hardwood Classics tag indicating the style of the jersey was from the 1993-95 era (Back to Back NBA Championships). The style was worn on three days during the season 12/10/07, 12/12/07 and 1/15/08.

Across the back reads the player name “WELLS” done in red tackle twill sewn directly into the white mesh jersey. Above the player name is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Overall, it shows mild-to-moderate wear with loose threads and soft malleable tagging.  This jersey is properly tagged and shows appropriate use. It includes a MeiGray Group NBA Letter of Authentication.

The day before the 2006 training camp began, Bonzi Wells signed with the Houston Rockets, with a salary of “only” $2 million in the initial season. This was considered to be a great bargain for the Rockets, as Wells had turned down a 5-year, $38.5 million offer from the Kings.
