Description
Presented is a Cinncinati Bengals jersey that was worn by Carson Palmer in 2007. The jersey was worn against the Kansas City Chiefs on December 27, 2009. The Bengals won the matchup 17-10 in a thrilling game.
On the inside back collar is a “07-48” with S manufacturer’s strip tag. On the front, back, and on each shoulder is the player number “9” in orange on white tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “PALMER” in orange/white tackle twill on a black name plate. On the front of the collar is the official “NFL” logo patch. Below that is the “BENGALS” embroidered name and the Captain’s patch with four yellow stars and one white. On each sleeve below the player numbers is the “Reebok” logo patch. The jersey has white spandex sides and cuffed sleeves that have the Bengal stripes. It shows great wear with soiling, thread fraying on the indentifiers etc. The bottom authentication tag (attached) shows the game whta it was worn in (JO Sports). Overall, a nice Carson Palmer Bengals game worn jersey.
The highlight is that a photo match can be found on Getty Images from Palmer’s game action. The use is shown by distinctive slash markings on the front numeral “9”. https://www.gettyimages.com/search/2/image?family=editorial&phrase=carson%20palmer%202009%20chiefs%20
