Don Larsen & Yogi Berra Signed Baseball Yankees “Oct. 8, 1956” – COA JSA

In one of the most iconic images in sports history, catcher Yogi Berra leaped into Don Larsen’s arms after the final out of the 1956 World Series perfect game. With the death of Berra on September 22, 2015, Larsen was the last living player for either team who played in this game, until his death on January 1, 2020, at the age of 90.

Presented is an OAL (Brown) baseball autographed by both main participants of the famed perfect game, Don Larsen and Yogi Berra. Both signed it on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen (“9”) with Larsen adding the date “Oct. 8, 1956”. The ball itself shows mild toning from age.

These originated from a longtime collector who acquired a substantial amount of autographs traveling to many trade shows on the East Coast in the 1980’s-90’s. All the signatures along with rare inscriptions in his collection (especially Mickey Mantle) were obtained in person.
