Due to the tragic loss of Elvis Presley a month earlier, fans would never again see The King in concert. We offer here a full ticket (central perforation) for a concert in Ashville, North Carolina that would have taken place on May 30, 1977. The show was later cancelled by promoter, Jerry Weintraub of Concerts West due to a scheduling conflict. The performance was rescheduled for August 26, 1977 which unfortunately didn’t happen due to Elvis’ death. The ticket has mild edge wear and a black marking on the verso from previous display. A great memento, to the King of Rock-n-Roll.
This ticket originated from the collection of items presented in a lot auctioned by Juliens. It also has a copy of the paperwork from Quick Tick International who verified/authenticated the ticket.
