Ernestine Petras (Teeny) was an infielder (third base) who played from 1944 through 1952. Petras batted and threw right-handed. She played for five different teams during his AAGPBL career which spanned nine years, is considered one of the best defensive shortstops in league history, yet she never made the All-Star team.
Jean Marlowe (Mal or ″Jeanie) was a pitcher 1948 and 1954 seasons. She batted and threw right-handed. Her last name is really Malanoski, but she acquired her last name in the league as a result of a misspelling.
Alma Ziegler was an infielder and pitcher who played from 1944 through 1954 , Ziegler batted and threw right-handed. Her stunning speed to snatch 387 stolen bases. And as a pitcher, she had a 42–21 record for a .667 percentage and collected a solid 1.32 earned run average.
