Presented is an ONL (White) baseball autographed by Frank Thomas. He signed it on the sweet spot in a blue ballpoint pen (“9”) and (The Original One Phillies 1964). The ball itself shows toning from age.
Frank Thomas nickname The Original One a three-time all-star, left fielder, first baseman, and third baseman who played in Major League Baseball (MLB). Thomas blasted 286 home runs during 16 years in the majors. He inquired the nickname for being the first hitting four homes in a game 8 times in major league history. For his career, Thomas hit .266 with 962 RBIs in 1766 major league games. From 1959 until the end of his career in 1966, Thomas played for the Reds, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Braves, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Houston Astros, then back to the Braves and finally the Cubs before he called it quits.
