Honus Wagner Signed Photo 8×10 Color Photo – COA JSA

Description

Presented is an 8×10 colorized photo that was autographed by baseball great and Hall of Famer, Honus Wagner. He signed the photo in black felt tip pen (“7-8”) with the inscription, “To Ed from – J. Honus Wagner – Pirates.” The photo was affixed to a card stock backing with tape/glue and it has some edge wear/paper loss on front.

Nicknamed “the Flying Dutchman” due to his superb speed and German heritage, Honus Wagner was a prototypical five-tool player, known for being a versatile defender who could combine a strong throwing arm with the ability to play almost any defensive position as well as being capable of hitting for average and for power. He is widely regarded as the greatest shortstop of all time. In 1936, the Baseball Hall of Fame inducted Wagner as one of the first five members.
