Karl Malone Game-Worn Shoes Signed Jazz 1997 COA JSA & 100% Authentic Team

“The Mailman” delivered when the game was on the line. When he finally decided to call it a career, Karl Malone was second on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, trailing only Wilt Chamberlain.

This pair of custom high top Apex Jazz shoes served the Mailman when he was lighting up the NBA scoreboards on a nightly basis in 1996. The bottom of the shoes were dated by the game he worn them 3/9/97. In that game, Malone had 36 points and 11 rebounds in a 115-106 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Both shoes show great game use with wear on the outsoles as well as discoloration from age. The shoes are in Jazz colorway and Apex logo is throughout the shoes along with “MAILMAN 32” embroidered on the side. For added value, Malone also signed each of the sneakers in black felt tip (“9”).

Karl Malone finally reached the NBA Finals in 1997, where they played the Jordan-led Chicago Bulls. In a matchup of the two previous MVPs, the Bulls won the first two games at the United Center. Malone struggled from the field, going 6 of 20 for 20 points in Game 2. However, the Jazz won the next two games at the Delta Center behind Malone’s 37 points in Game 3 and 23 in Game 4, including a game-winning fastbreak lay-up off a spectacular assist by Stockton in the last minute. The Bulls won the next two games and the series, with Malone struggling from the foul line in Game 6.
