Presented is one of Karl Malone’s game-worn warm-up shooting jackets and pants. Both items including the shooting jacket and warm up pants originate from Mike Brown a fellow teammate as he obtained them in the 2000-01 NBA season. Note, that the Jazz wore the Champion brand in 2000 before switching to Reebok.
The warm up jacket part of the fit is top tier as the button up showcases a small Jazz logo on the left portion chest with the NBA as well as Champion logo patch in the right area. The back features a larger circular Jazz logo below the Champion designator. The sleeves feature Jazz centric striping as an extra flair. The interior collar tagging shows the Champion [size] 54 (with wash instructions flap) as well as the Utah Jazz Exclusivity tag. Most importantly, it also features Malone’s player identifier (by jersey #) handwritten in black felt tip “32”.
Also included is a pair of Malone’s game used matching warm up pants from that season (2000-01). The Utah Jazz logo is showcased on the bottom right leg with the Champion/NBA logo up top on the other side. The interior waist band shows they are “Champion” size “54” with player number “32” written on it as an easy team identifier right next to the Utah Jazz Exclusivity tag. Both the jacket and pants are properly tagged and show excellent use throughout.
Overall, a great game worn outfit from a Hall of Famer with top notch provenance from his former Jazz teammate, Mike Brown.
