Description
KISS is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1973 by Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss. Known for its members’ face paint and stage outfits, the group rose to prominence in the mid–1970s with shocking live performances, which featured fire-breathing, blood-spitting, smoking guitars, shooting rockets, levitating drum kits, and pyrotechnics. The band has gone through several line-up changes, with Stanley and Simmons the only consistent members.
This Kiss album was obtained personally at the Guitar Center on Sunset Strip in the late 80′ s . The entire band was on hand to put their handprints in cement to be immortalized in the legendary walk of fame at the front of the store.
Presented is a KISS record album autographed by four members of the band including Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, Paul Stanley, and Gene Simmons. Each signed the front cover of the self-titled album in silver paint pen (“9”). The original record is included.
