Mickey Mantle Signed Cut Photo Display w/ Strand of His Hair Yankees – COA JSA & Provenance LOA

Mickey Mantle provided countless memories when he wielded that Louisville Slugger off his shoulder and deposited another ball over the fence. Mantle’s swing was a thing of beauty, and New Yorkers to this day can recall some of the moon shots the Hall of Famer hit.

Presented is a grand photo display (22″ x 32″) featuring two photos of the icon, Mickey Mantle as well as an autograph and a strand of his hair. We will get to that hair part in a minute because we know you are curious. Highlighting the display is an autograph on parchment by Mantle. Most likely taken out of autograph book, this cut (1″ x 3.25″ in matte) was signed in blue felt tip (“9”).

For added conversation and oddity, presented inside the display is a small piece of Mickey Mantle’s hair. It’s from a longtime collector and was acquired a long time ago and was extracted from one of Mantle’s caps in 1994. Definitely an interesting acquisition. A provenance letter will attend.
