Description
Presented is a rare vintage Norm Ferguson game worn hockey jersey. It was from the 1974-77 San Diego Mariners that were part of the WHA (1974-77). The orange/blue/white durene jersey displays the sewn on blue/white tackle twill “SAN DIEGO” name centrally on the chest. The front and the back features sewn on numerals in blue with white outline tackle twill (“9”). Both of the sleeves also have the same style sewn on “9” with a nice Mariners patch on the top of the right sleeve. Also showcased on the verso, his name on a white nameplate in blue “FERGUSON”. Neck tagging has the vintage Rawlings tag [size] 46. The jersey has no fight strap in the interior. Overall, the jersey shows great heavy wear with holes, black marks, loose threading/identifiers etc. Even in the most complete WHA gamer collections, you would have a hard time finding complete jerseys especially from this single season team.
