Description
MarchMMMamarPresented is a “White Album” autographed by one of the Beatles legends himself, Paul McCartney. He did a show at the Halfway Station in Amato, Arizona in 1986 and in the process created a music video. The famed “White Album”was signed at that show. It was signed on the inside cover by the legend, “Mark, All the Best, Paul McCartney”. The signature is in blue pen graded “7”. Note, the signature was taped over to preserve it and there is a slight mussing. However, it still displays well.
The White Album is taped on the exterior of the album cover to keep the seams together. The original album is intact and is included inside the cover. Overall, it is tough to find a McCartney autograph these days in any condition. So, a signature of his on one of the most famous albums of all time makes it more of a super collectible!
The Beatles, also referred to colloquially as the White Album, is the ninth studio album and only double album by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 22 November 1968. Featuring a plain white sleeve, the cover contains no graphics or text other than the band’s name embossed. This was intended as a direct contrast to the vivid cover artwork of the band’s previous LP Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967). The Beatles is recognised for its fragmentary style and diverse range of genres, including folk, country rock, British blues, ska, music hall, proto-metal and the avant-garde. It has since been viewed by some critics as a postmodern work, as well as one of the greatest albums of all time.
