The 2009 Paul Pierce Skills Academy was held on the campus of Brandeis University The camp boasted some of the best high school players in the country and some very good college players, too.

That year’s collegiate participants were headlined by Greivis Vasquez of Maryland, Manny Harris of Michigan, E’Twaun Moore of Purdue and Patrick Christopher of California. Instead of those guys, though, a rising senior out of Siena named Edwin Ubiles stole the show. 

Presented is an original Paul Pierce Skills Academy basketball jersey that was owned by Pierce. He had the kids sign the jersey for him. In all there were 26 signers on the custom Nike [size] 50 +4″ Extra Length #2 jersey (unnamed on back).

Highlight signers in black felt tip (“8-9”) with many stars who made the NBA include: Will Barton; E’twan Moore; Harrison Barnes; Edwin Ubilies; Andre Dawkins; Daniel Bejarano; Marshoon Brooks; James Bell; Grevis Vasquez, Ryan Thompson and others.

The jersey in this collection along with many other items in auction here came directly from Paul Pierce. Overall, it is a great NBA collectible by itself but since it was owned by Paul Pierce, it makes it that more special.
