Description
Reggie Jackson was nicknamed “Mr. October” for his clutch hitting in the postseason with the Athletics and the Yankees. He helped Oakland win five consecutive American League West divisional titles, three consecutive American League pennants and three consecutive World Series titles, from 1972 to 1974. Jackson helped New York win four American League East divisional pennants, three American League pennants and two consecutive World Series titles, in 1977 and 1978.
Presented is an OAL (Budig) baseball autographed by Roberto Alomar. He signed it on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen (“9”) with multiple inscriptions (20) including, “HOF ’93 – Mr. October – 563 HR’s – 1702 RBIs” and many more. The ball itself shows toning from age. It was numbered 244/1000.
