Description
“Another Brick in the Wall” is a three-part composition on Pink Floyd’s 1979 rock opera The Wall, written by bassist Roger Waters. “Part 2”, a protest song against corporal punishment, and rigid and abusive schooling, features a children’s choir. At the suggestion of producer Bob Ezrin, Pink Floyd added elements of disco.
On June 17, 2000 Roger Waters performed at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas. From that appearance comes this brick which Waters autographed. The brick has an obvious attachment to the song, “Another Brick in the Wall”. Waters signed the red brick boldly in black felt tip (“8-9”) near the concert details. This originates from a promotion director at KOMP Radio here in Las Vegas. The famous rock rock star signed the brick at the concert event.
