Being an author in high regard had its perks, as he was closely connected to royalty and celebrities. During his career, Moseley brilliantly gathered in person some of the finest autographs in the world. Some were personalized to him as a testament to their respect and kinship. Presented is an autograph from one of the pages in Moseley’s many albums. This one (4.5″ x 6.25″) splendidly features signatures on both sides. One side features an autograph of Sophie Tucker. She was one of the most popular entertainers in America during the first half of the 20th century. She was widely known by the nickname “The Last of the Red Hot Mamas”. She signed her side in black pen (“9”) with the terrific inscription, “To Roy.”

The side with the JSA sticker features the actress Evelyn Keyes. It was signed in black pen (“9”) by her with a personalization, “To Roy Best Wishes .” She is best known for her role as Suellen O’Hara in the 1939 film Gone with the Wind.
