Description
Wow – what a tremendous opportunity to own a great vintage Steve King game worn hockey jersey. This jersey was from the time he played for the Ottawa Nationals (1972-73) that were part of the WHA. The red, white and blue durene jersey displays the tackle twill Ottawa Nationals patch logo centrally. The front and the back features sewn on numerals in white with blue outline tackle twill (“12”). Both of the sleeves also have a layered white/blue tackle twill sewn on “12”. nOTE SIZE- Across chest 20″ pit to pit.
Also showcased on the verso, his name is on a white nameplate in blue “KING”. Neck tagging is the vintage black and gold Maska label (which is loose) and the tie-neck still holds the original string. The jersey has no fight strap. Overall, the jersey show tremendous wear throughout with scrapes, repairs, discolorations, blood marks, black marks, stick marks, holes, loose threading/identifiers etc. All out wear through and through! Even in the most complete WHA gamer collections, you would have a hard time finding complete jerseys.
