Description
Presented is an orange Florida Gators Air helmet worn by Kenyatta Walker in the 1999 season. A “Gators” script decal is adhered to both sides of the helmet. A facemask bumper with “Gators” printed in blue script is affixed on the forehead of the helmet. The facemask shows wear throughout with scrape marks and the Gators orange chinstrap attached. This well-used helmet has the iconic blue-white-blue stripe bisecting the crown.
The link to Walker is via an interior black marking with his jersey number underlined 78. The padding system with blue cushioning in the interior is worn with dirt and sweat. It’s very sticky. The helmet features stickers on the back – “78” on one side and the warning sticker and NCAA pennant on the other side. There’s also scuffing marks on the shell throughout. Overall, strong use with wear both inside and out.
