Virginia Mayo was an American actress and dancer. She was in a series of comedy films with Danny Kaye and was Warner Brothers biggest box-office money-maker in the late 1940s. She also co-starred in the 1946 Oscar-winning movie “The Best Years of Our Lives”.

Presented is an original black and white studio photo (8×10) of Mayo. It is stamped on the back Virginia Mayo Warner Brothers Pictures – Photograph by Bert Six Warner Brothers. Mayo signed the photo in black felt tip pen on her image with the personalization, “To Nadene – Always”. There is some hand transfer so it rates overall (“7”). Overall, a nice autograph from an early funny lady.
