Description
Palace of the Fans was a Major League baseball park located in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was the home of the Cincinnati Reds from 1902 through 1911. The ballpark was on an asymmetrical block bounded by Findlay Street (south), Western Avenue (northeast, angling), York Street (north) and McLean Avenue (west).
Presented is an antique green chair from the “Palace of the Fans” ballpark. The seat has solid and sturdy construction. The back arches are riveted together along with the folding joints of the legs. It measures 33.25″ tall, 16″ wide and 21″ deep. It dates from 1902-1911, and was part of the Cincinnati Reds Ball Park called ‘Palace of the Fans. It retains its original green paint. The ‘Palace Of The Fans’ Baseball Park endured two fires before it was finally torn down, making this vintage Chair a scarce Cincinnati artifact.
