Held at the venerable County Stadium in Milwaukee, the home of the Braves, the National League defeated the American League 6-5 in extra innings in the 1955 Mid-Summer Classic. The American League squad featured eight future Hall of Famers (plus Al Lopez the manager of the AL squad), while the National League featured nine Hall of Famers (plus Hall of Fame manager Leo Durocher).
