Presented for sale is a 1964 NASCAR Riverside 500 Program & Lineup, Dan Gurney Wins, Joe Weatherly Fatal. The program is in collectible condition. It has water damage on the left spine and some damage on the pages not directly on any of the information and photos. Please review the pictures that are representative of the entire program. Also included is a ticket stub that is stapled on the cover. Also, an envelope that held the ticket. The 1964 Motor Trend 500 was held at Riverside International Raceway on January 19th before a crowd of 58,265. This was the fifth race of the 1964 Grand National season. Dan Gurney won this race in the #121 Wood Brothers Ford, followed by Marvin Panch and Fireball Roberts. Gurney dominated at Riverside, winning five races from 1963-68, four of them with the Wood Brothers. This race was marred by the Joe Weatherly accident on lap 86 that claimed the life of the 1962 and 1963 Grand National Champion. The Clown Prince of NASCAR was driving the Bud Moore #8.
