Description
Presented is a great vintage Ray McKay game worn hockey jersey. This jersey was from the 1977-78 Winnipeg Jets that were part of the WHA. The red, white and blue mesh gamer is tagged in the collar as a HARV-AL KNIT Size “XL”. Front and central the prominantWinnipeg Jets logo is present and was screened on. On the back, the white tackle twill surname letters “CLARKSON” sewn onto a blue nameplate. Below it is McKay’s numeral identifier which is a layered tackle twill number “5” in red/white. The jersey has a shoe string style fight strap inside the interior.
Overall, the jersey show tremendous war throughout with scrapes, repairs, discolorations, black/stick marks, holes, loose threading/identifiers etc. All out wear through and through! Even in the most complete WHA gamer collections, you would have a hard time finding complete jerseys. Overall. a fantastic game-worn jersey from Clarkson and the WHA Jets.
