1996-97 Shaquille O’Neal Game-Worn Jersey Lakers – COA

Description

After spending the first four years of his career in Orlando, Shaquille O’Neal was signed to the Los Angeles Lakers during the summer of 1996. Presented is a Los Angeles Lakers Shaquille O’Neal game worn jersey from that 1996-97 season. On the front left tail is a “Champion” manufacturer’s tag that reads “DESIGNED & TAILORED 96-97 EXCLUSIVELY FOR LOS ANGELES LAKERS BODY LENGTH +6”.  Adjacent is another “Champion” size “56” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions.

On the left inseam is a tag that reads “6″ EXTRA BODY LENGTH”. On the front left chest is an official “NBA” logo embroidered in gold stitching. All numbering and lettering are done in the same purple on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the yellow mesh jersey. Across the chest reads “LAKERS”. His jersey number “34” appears on both the front and on the back. Across the back reads player name “O’NEAL”. Note, there is a faded autograph on the jersey from O’Neal.  Overall, the jersey is tagged correctly and shows appropriate use.
