On February 6, 2020, the Dodgers and Max Muncy agreed to a three-year, $26 million contract extension with a $13 million option for a fourth year. The 2020 season was delayed due to the pandemic in North America. Muncy played in 58 of the Dodgers’ 60 games and hit .192/.331/.389 with 12 homers and 27 RBIs. In Game 3 of the 2020 NLCS, Muncy hit a grand slam off of Grant Dayton, capping off scoring 11 runs in the first inning. Eventually the Dodgers broke the record in that game hitting 5 home runs. they won 15–3 as they still won the NLCS in seven games with the Atlanta Braves before advancing to the World Series for the third time in four years. In the 2020 World Series, he batted .318 with one home run and six RBIs and helped the Dodgers win the championship.
Presented is a Max Muncy team issued Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys from the 2020 season. The jersey was issued with a 2020 MLB All-Star Game patch from which subsequently was cancelled due to the pandemic. MLB dated the jersey in the off season December 6, 2020. The home jersey features MUNCY’s name and number “13” sewn on the back, with “Dodgers” in script and a red numeral identifier “50” on front. The button-up jersey has the Nike MLB Authentic Collection manufacturer label with MLB coding tag below. Interior seam tags have proper coding and “-2” body flap. “LA ” logo sewn onto left sleeve in blue tackle twill. Note, there’s some mild spots present on the back from storage/display.
