Description

Presented is a vintage black and white 8×10 photo autographed by Boris Karloff. He signed the studio portrait in black pen with the personalization, “To Agnes Varkinson – with the best wishes of.” The photo itself has creasing/aging wear as well as remnants/glue residue from it’s previous display on the verso.

Boris Karloff, was an English actor who was primarily known for his roles in horror films. He portrayed Frankenstein’s monster in Frankenstein (1931),Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and Son of Frankenstein (1939).He also appeared as The Mummy (1932 film). His best-known non-horror role is as the Grinch, as well as the narrator, in the animated television special How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (TV special 1966).
