Damon Jones Game-Worn Jersey Cavaliers NBA China Game 2007 – COA MeiGray

Presented is a game worn Damon Jones jersey from the 2007 NBA preseason in the China Games. On the chest is the “CLEVELAND” team logo patch in white/gold tackle twill. Below is his number “19” sewn on in the same white/gold tackle twill.  On the front left tail is the Adidas manufacturer’s tag size “46”.  Attached are a flap tags reading: “Climalite”, “LENGTH +4””,  “2007-08”. Adjacent to the left is an “MeiGray Group NBA Game Worn” tag with serial number “AM005151” and above the main tag is the 2007 China Games – Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Orlando Magic.

Across the back reads the player name “JONES” done in white/gold tackle twill sewn directly into the maroon mesh jersey. Above the player name is the Cavs logo embroidered. Overall, it shows mild to moderate  wear with soft malleable tagging. This jersey is properly tagged and shows appropriate use. The game during the preseason was in Shanghei, China held on 10/17/07. The Magic won the game 90-86. It includes a MeiGray Group NBA Letter of Authentication.

A journeyman throughout his career, Damon Jones never played for the same team for more than one season except for 2005–2008, when he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his career, he played for ten different teams. Jones was most notable for his ability to make three-point field goals. In fact, three-point attempts made up the majority of his field goal attempts because his role was often to wait on the outside while teammates such as Shaquille O’Neal, Dwyane Wade, or LeBron James forced double teams.
