Description
Denny McLain was a pitcher in Major League Baseball for ten seasons, most notably for the Detroit Tigers. In 1968, McLain became the most recent Major League Baseball pitcher to win 30 or more games during a season (with a record of 31–6) — a feat accomplished by only 11 players in the 20th century.
Well, here’s something interesting. Considering modern sports stars also try to lay tracks this one goes back….way back. Presented is an album autographed by Denny McLain. He was “at the Organ” for this one titled, “The Detroit Tigers Superstar Swings with Today’s Hits”. McLain signed it in blue felt tip with his accomplishments as inscriptions, “31-6, 1968 – Cy 68 – 69 – M.V.P. 68.” The record album is still intact.
