Carson Palmer recently declared Burrow “the best quarterback in the league”—and it’s hard to dispute the stats. After a 2019 season at LSU that ranked among the greatest single-season campaigns in college football history, Burrow was selected with the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Bengals. His debut season was an impressive one, throwing for 2,688 yards and 13 touchdowns (while rushing for three more) before his season ended after a low hit in Week 11 tore ligaments in his knee. Undeterred, Burrow returned to start the 2021 season and enjoyed a stunning year, completing a league-best 70.4 percent of his passes for 4,611 yards and 34 touchdowns. In the postseason, he marshaled the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance in 30 years, receiving the Comeback Player of the Year Award at the conclusion of the season.

Presented is a Joe Burrow autographed NFL debut September 13, 2020 Cincinnati Bengals game used football – offensive side. It is a Wilson Official NFL (Goodell) football. This includes Joe Burrow’s debut game and the game in which he threw his first touchdown pass.

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback has placed a silver marker signature on this football that saw game action during his 2020 debut NFL season. Additionally, Burrow has added the inscription “Game Used / 2020 Rookie Season / 2020 #1 Pick” beside his autograph. The ball was used in the Bengals games held on September 13th, 17th, and 27th games along with their October 4th, 2020.

The football features a Cincinnati Bengals logo and displays great use, revealing scuffs, scratches, and fading commensurate with its use as a game ball. Dots of  ink (presumably from the marker Burrow used during signing) appear on one side of the football and there is some light smudging to the inscription that does not impair legibility. A series of numbers are struck between the autograph and inscription in an unknown hand (applied via the team). The ball comes with a COA from Fanatics (AA0086662) for the game- use, signature, and inscription. A wonderful autographed game-used football from Burrow’s franchise-changing rookie season.
