Description
Joe Montana is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and two seasons with Kansas City Chiefs. After winning a national championship at Notre Dame, Montana began his NFL career in 1979 at San Francisco, where he played for the next 14 seasons. With the 49ers, Montana started and won four Super Bowls and was the first player to be named the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player (MVP) three times.
Presented is a full size Riddell San Francisco 49ers football helmet autographed by Joe Montana. Montana signed the helmet in blue felt tip (“8-9”) with the inscription, “I Left My Heart in San Francisco”. The golden dome showcases the team’s SF logo decals on both sides. The authentic helmet does not show use/wear and features a gray face mask with Warning tags still affixed.
