Presented is an 8×10 black and white promotional photo from NASA autographed by John Glenn. He signed the bottom portion of the photo in black felt tip with the inscription, “Best Regards” and added the date signed “6-4-08”.

John Glenn was an American Marine Corps aviator, astronaut, businessman, and politician. He was the third American in space and the first American to orbit the Earth, circling it three times in 1962. Following his retirement from NASA, he served from 1974 to 1999 as a U.S. Senator from Ohio; in 1998, he flew into space again at the age of 77.
