NM set of eight original National Screen Service lobby cards utilized to promote “The Greatest”, the well-received 1977 bio-pic documenting the amazing life and career of Muhammad Ali. Ali starred as himself in the film and he is prominently featured on the title card and each of the seven scene cards. Each measures the standard 11″ x 14″ and like it’s star, is bold and colorful. All have been properly stored for three decades and are crisp and well-centered, with none of the pinholes, tape or mounting stains typically found on these practical pieces of commercial art. Collectors will not encounter a finer set.
