New York Yankees Game-Worn Flannel Pants Attributed to Lou Gehrig COA 100% Authentic Team

Description

Presented is a rare pair of pants worn by the legendary Yankee great Lou Gehrig.  Although they were not worn in a game back in the day, the Yankee ballclub gave “Western Costume, Supply Co” uniforms for their promotions and productions.   This cream pair of pants was one of them.

All the specifications down to the ventilation holes in the crotch and pinstripe flannel material personify the Yankees, albeit it is the sans front button.  However, the costume company removed the interior manufacturer tags and added their Western Costumer Supply Co stamping.  The attribution to Gerhig is stitched in the interior waistband “Gehrig” n pink thread.

Over the years, Gehrig participated in many promotions (photo shoots, advertisements, etc) and these were used when he needed to bring the Yankee spirit to the camera.
