This Reebok maroon mesh Washington Redskins home jersey was worn by Robert Gillespie during the 2002 NFL season. “REDSKINS” appears stitched in white below the front collar just above Gillespie’s number “38,” which is displayed in white tackle twill. The collar tag patch is stitched “02-46”. His number appears in matching style on the shoulders and back of the jersey, where “GILLESPIE” appears across the top in white tackle twill on a nameplate. The “70th Anniversary” Redskings patch is on the left breast. The Reebok manufacturer’s tag is found on the front left tail [size] “46” (flap). It shows tremendous wear throughout with ruckled identifiers, loose threads, soiling, hit marks, repairs near the nameplate etc.

Robert Gillespie played in the National Football League (NFL) for two seasons in the early 2000s with the Washington Redskins and Jacksonville Jaguars. He played college football for the University of Florida.
