Across the back is the player name “HUBBARD” in orange/white tackle twill on a black name plate. On the front of the collar is the official “NFL” logo patch. Below that is the “BENGALS” embroidered name.On each sleeve below the player numbers is the “Nike” logo patch. The jersey has white spandex sides and cuffed sleeves that have the Bengal stripes. It shows great wear with hit marks on the identifiers and shoulders, soiling, thread fraying etc. Overall, a nice Bengals game worn jersey.
In Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Sam Hubbard recorded his first sack of the season on Carson Wentz during the 23–23 tie game. He suffered an elbow injury in Week 5 and was placed on injured reserve on October 15, 2020.He was activated on November 14, 2020. He started and appeared in 13 games. He recorded two sacks, 62 total tackles (33 solo), three passes defended, and one forced fumble.
Notes on the game: Joe Burrow ran 23 yards for a touchdown in his NFL debut and put the Bengals in range for a dramatic, last-minute win. Instead, he ended up like so many Cincinnati quarterbacks before him, wondering what the heck just happened. They lost a game Cincinnati-style: Chargers 16, Bengals 13.
