Description
Presented is a pair of Tony Gwynn game-worn batting gloves. They are Franklin brand with the HOFer’s jersey number “19” on the strap portion. The gloves show excellent dirt/bat wear throughout especially and naturally concentrated on the palms and fingers. The gloves also have delicately placed tape around sections on the fingers for optimum grip. There are noticable autographs on both near the Franklin logo however they have disapated/bled.
Nicknamed “Mr. Padre”, Tony Gwynn was an American professional baseball right fielder, who played 20 seasons (1982–2001) in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres. The left-handed hitting Gwynn won eight batting titles in his career, tied for the most in National League (NL) history.
