Yvonne DeCarlo Costume Dress “The Munsters” Worn Promotionally, Back Up COA

Yvonne De Carlo had a long and successful screen career prior to her co-starring in the 1960s television series, “The Munsters.” Yvonne was typically typecast for western movie roles prior to her part as Sephora in the 1958 classic The Ten Commandments. Offered is an elaborate lady’s dress, featuring spider web accents. This is one of the few dresses worn by Yvonne De Carlo in her role as Lily Munster. In detail, it includes a chiffon-with-lace gown (fashioned in ‘munstrous’ purple and black) along with a partial cape. The garment bears no markings or tags nor is there any evidence of removed tags.  Again, an extremely rare wardrobe ensemble due to scarcity and high demand. Ms. DeCarlo played her role as Herman’s wife perfectly – assured and morbidly dainty.
